Covid-19 News
Covid-19 swept in and turned our worlds upside down, with many of our businesses coming to a complete halt. As small business owners, we are eager to get back on our feet. Our clients are excited to have us back on site, as we take every precaution to protect not only our team, but your team too. We are doing full disinfectant deck washes upon completion, so you can sit back and relax and enjoy your decking investment, guaranteeing you many years of high performance and low maintenance.
We have kept our 2019 price listing in place, despite the weakening of the Rand to the Dollar. This is because as a small business, we understand the need to support small businesses around us. With a peaked interest in DIY home decking, we have kept our pricing accessible to the average homeowner too.
Winter is by far our slowest months due to unreliable rainy weather affecting installations and the general cold doesn’t inspire many to be outdoors! Loadshedding has also been an issue in the past, but is not anymore, due to us providing our own generated power supply when needed as well as tenting to keep areas dry and accessible for winter installations. This has proved to be beneficial in terms of getting the summer deck ready before the busy season. Our primary goal is keeping our clients happy by staying on our projected timelines to completion, while offering a wide range of colours and materials- from decking to cladding to tiling and more.
The wet, cold weather however is a perfect opportunity to witness the benefits and differences between composite wood decking and traditional timber. Envirodeck wood-composite decking boards and materials are water resistant for up to 10 years. With the concealed clip and screw system, boards do not crack, warp or splinter as spacing is calculated exactly to allow for expansion and contraction as we go through the seasons.
However, some wood enthusiasts cannot be swayed and are prepared for the upkeep and maintenance. Our timber is responsibly sourced from eco-friendly suppliers in-keeping with our theme – Go Green.
